Christmas greetings to all members from the Penboc committee.

A Change of Name

With the merging of BOCA & BA, Penboc will become a branch of the new BirdLife Australia organisation and will therefore need to change our name.  The committee has decided that as from the start up of the new organisation we will be known as "BirdLife Mornington Peninsula".  As the rules of the new organisation do not allow us to use acronyms, this will become the identifier for our branch.

Rest assured that we will have the same range of activities, albeit within a larger national body.

Christmas Break Up

Our Christmas break up outing this year is at the Boonoorong private property in  Flinders, details are on our outings page.  Come along, bring a plate to share and celebrate our year of birding.  The date is Sunday 18th December.

Enquiries to Max Burrows on (03) 9789-0224.

All BOCA members on the Mornington Peninsula (ie. with a postcode of
3910-3920, 3199-3201, 3901 or 3926-3944) are considered Penboc
members and will automatically receive a copy of Penboc News.  Penboc
members are not precluded from being members of other BOCA branches
or affiliates.

Join Penboc by joining BOCA.  Click here to find out more about how to join
BOCA.  There is no additional membership fee for BOCA members to join
Penboc.
